Love Japanese Engrish!!
This is a typical Japanese gas station. Thankfully we all understand which way really is "IN". As you drive up to the station, they welcome you, guide you in, wash your windshield, empty your ashtray (If needed), all while they're filling the tank. When they are done, they again guide you out, along with a BOW!
While out shopping at Jusco, I ran into this FUNNY shirt. I've always wanted to get something cute like this for my Grandson and when I saw this I had to get it. The Japanese are so funny when they try to imitate English. That's why it's referred to as Engrish. Go to THIS site and you'll see more hilarious photo's.

A Phone Call From BOBBY!!
Enjoy my version of a Homemade black and white movie.
The last we heard was Bobby was going to check with President Beck to see if he could call us on his Christmas Eve which would be Christmas here (Got to love the 16 hour difference). Well we did get a phone call from Elder Folsom on Christmas morning and it was perfect timing too.
We had just finished unwrapping presents and I was in the middle of gathering up the mess when the Utah line rings, I'm looking at the number and of course was a little puzzled as to who it was (We were expecting the call between 2pm-3pm),not ever thinking it may be Bobby.
I said "Hello"?
He said "Mom"?
I said "BOBBY"!!!
He said "MOM"!!! (Wow, just like old times)
It was just so awesome to talk to him, I put him on speaker phone and we all gathered around the couch and talked with him for 1hr. 10 mins.
He is doing so well, we are so very, very proud of him. He talked about his Mission and the Baptism he got "Chosen" to perform.
All we wanted was just to hear him talk, to hear his voice and to hear about Elder Folsom and all he is doing. The hardest part was hanging up. We felt like teenagers "You hang up first, no you hang up first" so I had to finally push the button and say "Goodbye" to my Hero!!

Good Ole Engrish

The Japanese version of English is called Engrish. They are so funny trying to imitate the English language. Their clothing is a totally different story, (Pic's soon to follow). These are the type of signs you will see everywhere and anywhere.
Make's your heart go out to healthy people huh? good reason not to exercise or get pregnant huh?

Jaden

Jaden is our only grandson (for now), we miss him so much and we are blessed to be able to visit via webcam once in awhile. Even though he spends pretty much the whole time playing with his harmonica, pushing his dump truck, yelling at his dad for taking his Pokemon cards from him, climbing on the couch so he can jump off. We just love to watch him, we try to tell Dena and Jared to go ahead and go out on a date and we will watch him.

Japanese Christmas Gift

This is a funny and yet so cute story.. Dale and I had a ton of Hawaiian chocolates that we so needed to get out of the house, being that it was the Christmas season, Dale wanted to give some to the Mamasans at school, they clean his room everyday and always have huge smiles on their face. The next day this was left on Dale's desk.
The card say's "Thank you for the chocolate for yesterday. This is a present from us. It is glad when liking it. Happy Mary Christmas."
From Shizuka & Yaeko
The white box is addressed as "Foo Teacher."
How cute!!
Dale brought it home and we opened it up, it was just cute... they are awesome people and we love living in this culture.

The Girls Are Growing Up

Jessica and Molli are actually getting along for the most part, as those of you who have girls, know that can be a challenge at times.
Molli is getting so tall, Jess has to wear heels in pictures so they at least look somewhat the same height.
Jessica just got her drivers license and Dale seems to be having a better time at that then I am. She'll ask me if she can drive to the store and all I can do is tell her to ask Dad, cause that's just not something I can answer. She's doing good though, there have been no lights or sirens behind her.
