The Tennessee Snow!!

When we first moved to Tennessee we started asking around about the weather here. First off...the summer's.(Being it was summer at the time) The reply we would get is "It's VERY humid here". We thought Okay, we are just came from Okinawa, Japan and if this what you consider humid..well we'll be Okay.... Then we jumped right into Winter, we asked the typical questions, like how cold does it get, do we need a coat, how thick of a coat, how about a snow shovel, do we need a shovel?...Well that last question always got a laugh, "No, you will NOT need a shovel, don't let anyone tell you, you will", in other words it's a waste of money.....

This is the first time they've had this much snow in over 15 yrs!. The girls school has been canceled 6 days, which they have to make up for, cause snow days are not part of the planning for the school year. Dale and I missed 2 days.

Well, so much for buying a snow shovel...Not when you have a rake!!
